P & L Inspections provide a full visual, operational and mechanical inspection of all items
of lifting equipment and issue 'Thorough Examination' reports. All inspections are carried out by fully trained
/ competent technicians with the appropriate practical and theoretical knowledge.
All inspections follow the
code of practice and guidance approved by the Health and Safety Commission and the Secretary of State
For
peace of mind we provide individually numbered reports by email within 24 hours of the inspection. This will be followed up
by an embossed report which will be sent through the post. We will remind you when your inspections are due, ensuring that your business
continues to comply with Health and Safety regulations. We can
carry out minor repairs FOC at the time of inspection.
Although we have the capability to carry
out major repairs, our primary aim is to ensure your equipment is safe and fit for purpose, and therefore have
nothing to gain by the result of an examination.
If your equipment does require repair, we are able to
give you an estimation of the expected costs, and can carry out the repair at a mutually agreeable time.
As we are not
agents for any manufacturer, we are totally impartial and independent. Therefore we carry out Statutory Thorough Examinations
objectively and "without fear or favour".
We understand that your equipment is constantly in use, and
therefore make every effort to make ourselves available at a time to suit you. No extra charge will
be made for working at weekends, early mornings prior to the lifts being used, or evenings at the end of a working day.
There are no hidden charges - all prices are inclusive of labour and mileage.
